Gudauri

 

Gudauri, is a ski resort in the Kazbegi Municipality. The ski-resort is located on the southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountain Range. It is 120km. from Tbilisi, at 2196m above sea level. The resort operates five rope ways which take skiers from 2000 meters up to 3006 and 3270m high. Skiing route length is 16 kilometers.

Ananuri

Is a XVI-XVII century Feudal Castle at the village of Ananuri. Since 24th of October 2007 Ananuri Castle has been on the tentative list for inclusion into the UNESCO World Heritage Site program.

 

Kazbegi

Former Stepantsminda, is a small town in east Georgia. The town is located along the banks of the Thergi River, at the bottom of the Mkinvartsveri, 1750 meters above sea level. It is 46 kilometers from Vladikavkaz. Stepantsminda and faces Gergeti ST. Trinity Church, which you can reach on foot or by 4x4 transport.

The Gergeti Trinity Church was built in the 14th century at an elevation of 2200 meters.
